Have Questions?

General

Are you insured?

Yes, I have my own insurance for board and training and lessons.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel your board and train program up until a week before your start date. For lessons, if your not feeling like the training style is a good fit you can cancel up to a week after your first lesson. At that rate just pay for the one lesson and you will be refunded the rest.

Can I observe a training session?

Absolutely! We want you to know that our training methods are a good fit for you and your dog.

Do you have payment plans?

Yes!

Do you work with aggressive dogs?

Yes we do! Both dog and human aggression. We will work on a case by case basis to determine the best program for you!

Whats the difference between the E-collar you use and others?

We use E-collar technology collars. They use a TENS unit which is used for muscle therapy and have a wide range so we can make mini adjustments to find the right range for your dog.

What training equipment do you use?

I believe in using the training tools that are best for each individual dog. I use flat collars, slip leads, prong collars and e-collars. When first starting with a dog I focus on treat training to teach them the commands and will pivot from there if need be.

What treats do you use?

We work for our food by using their kibble as their treats. If they are not on kibble or need a higher value treat I have freeze dried beef liver, beef lung, and freeze dried chicken hearts.

Board and Train

Why do they have to stay with you during the week?

When we have your dog for the board and train it gives us time to work with them multiple times a day. We can establish a routine and have multiple training sessions to help build a solid foundation.

Will my dog be exposed to other dogs?

We do work around other dogs. We work in close proximity in a controlled environment as well as working around dogs that are playing to teach them how to listen regardless of what is going on around them.

How long are each training sessions?

It depends on the dog and what they can handle. Each dog gets about 4 hours of training a day broken up into bigger training sessions, if they can handle it, or more smaller sessions.

What should I bring?

You don't need to bring much! Enough food plus a couple extra days, any medication they are on, different high value training treats if needed, slow feeder bowl if needed, a toy or two of theirs that they enjoy.
